A hot-mix asphalt plant is proposed at 6010 Gun Club Road in Clemmons, NC — on Muddy Creek, near multiple neighborhoods, area businesses, and the Kinnamon Road corridor. Here’s a map of the projected areas that will be impacted:

What’s happening
Maymead Inc. filed an air permit application with Forsyth County’s Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection (EAP) on July 16, 2026. No Village Council vote is required for this project — the permit process is where residents’ input actually matters.
